If you have a rat or pest problem, you can make a profit selling the little buggers to reptile owners. Snakes eat rats and the owners need a place to buy them from, on a regular basis. Problem solved for you and the pet owners. This can be true of all kinds of pests that may torment you and others. There is always a pet somewhere needing live pests to eat. Why not take a bad situation and turn it into a positive moneymaking business idea?
Believe me, I have suffered from something similar with mice. They just appeared overnight and drove me bananas. If you can look at the little pests and see money signs on them every time you have to look at them, your whole situation can change for the best. They will not look as gross to you if they are providing you money.
Most pests have natural enemies that love to eat them, it just takes a few minutes on the Internet researching these little pests to find out whom you might be able to sell them to. You can even find out how to trap the little critters without having to touch them. Something I should think would be important to most of us.
You may even become so impressed with the amount of money you can make with these little pests after a while, that you decide to start breeding them for profits or helping your neighbors get rid of them too. They won't care what you are going to do with them, they just want to get rid of them. They might actually pay you to remove them, so they don't have to deal with them in any way. (The money signs could get even bigger on them now). You may not be able to make a living doing this, but it could be an excellent way to make some extra spending money.
Don't forget to include bugs in this category of pests too. Many pets love crickets, roaches, ants, spiders, etc., the list could be endless. What a wonderful way to naturally rid yourself of unwanted pests. An ecologically sound business idea should appeal to quite a few people these days. Why not take advantage of the opportunity to offer help with a natural remedy? Saving yourself also from; the dangers of poisons that can affect you and your family, or other pets that shouldn't eat these poisoned pests, and then also the stinky dead carcasses lying around the house and in the walls.
You ultimately could make a good living offering foods for pets, which are live and natural. If you adjust to the critters and like the idea, you could work hard and make this source of income your only income. Someone needs to provide these food sources for people
