Students going to a university or college away from home may not know where local stores are, where to get groceries, where the police station is, the local library, cafes, etc. Sell an information pack just for these students that contain a guidebook, a local map and coupons/discounts they can use. You could sell them for $5 - $10 per pack.

Card games are a great pastime and so much fun. However, many people do not know how to play different card games and would like to learn. Games such as poker, bridge, canasta, cribbage, gin, and so on, can help you make some money! Hold workshops to teach people how to play each type of game. You can stick to teaching one game, or hold different workshops at different times, for the different games. You will need a venue and should be able to profit by charging each person $20 for each class of around ten students.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. At least, that’s the common notion. In fact, women spend thousands of dollars every year purchasing jewelry. It’s no surprise, then, that jewelry is big business. In 2004 alone, Americans spent more than $57.4 dollars on jewelry and watches, a rise of almost seven percent from 2003.
Business doesn’t stop with the selling of jewelry. Women, and to a lesser extent, men, purchase jewelry and wear some of it on a daily basis. The problem is jewelry gets dirty. And, people don’t always have the time and/or the resources to clean and polish their jewelry. Unfortunately for jewelry wearers, soap and water doesn’t do the trick. Those who have tried it can attest that soap only dulls gold and silver. Fine jewelry requires even finer care.
